N110CV was born on January 17, 2008. Diana flew out to Seattle to visit her oldest daughter (attending school at UW) and pick up the airplane and fly it back to St. Louis!

Diana provided Julia with the first instruction given in the Cub while still in Yakima Washington. The weather was unusually clear and bright, but very very cold! The Yakima valley provided a great place to begin learning the ins and outs of the Sport cub.

Cold clear skies translated into beautiful scenery and smooth flying. Beautiful landscapes in view the entire trip back. Diana flew from Yakima, down the Boise Valley to Salt Lake City UT, then hopped over the divide to Moab Utah, on down that valley to Albuquerque New Mexico, and then north east to St. Louis.
