Your Tailwheel endorsement starts at Hunter Field located in Sparta Illinois. An outstanding uncontrolled field with two intersecting runways, providing both grass and hard surface. Starting in the grass you will learn the skill required to be proficient in a taildragger on a forgiving surface. As you learn technique and gain experience you will progress to crosswind and then hard surface takeoffs and landings. Training rates are $150/hour.
